Author Guidelines

Studia Phaenomenologica welcomes original scholarly contributions that advance research in phenomenology and related areas of continental philosophy. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below when preparing and submitting manuscripts.

  1. Scope of the Journal

Studia Phaenomenologica publishes high-quality research in phenomenology, continental philosophy, and interdisciplinary philosophical studies. The journal encourages critical engagement with the phenomenological tradition and its contemporary developments.

The journal accepts submissions under the following two categories:

Regular Submissions
Regular submissions include original research articles that address themes in phenomenology, hermeneutics, existential philosophy, ethics, philosophy of religion, philosophy of culture, and related philosophical disciplines. Interdisciplinary contributions that connect phenomenology with theology, literature, social sciences, and cultural studies are also encouraged.

Special Issue Submissions
The journal periodically publishes special thematic issues devoted to specific philosophical themes, intellectual traditions, or emerging areas of research. Special issues may adopt a multidisciplinary approach, encouraging contributions that engage phenomenological perspectives in dialogue with fields such as theology, religious studies, literature, cultural studies, psychology, sociology, political theory, and other areas within the humanities and social sciences.
